This website is is devoted to preserving the legacy of one of southern Indiana’s popular writers, Larry Incollingo.
With the exception of one novel all of Larry’s books are about people. ” I wanted to write about people,” he said in an interview ” because they’re interesting. Each one is a story in himself or herself.” Larry got his start in the newspaper selling advertising for $25 a week in 1947. He sold advertising because it was the only job available but eventually talked his way into a weekly column called “The Ad Man’s column” which evolved into a daily column in the Bedford Indiana Times Mail and the Bloomington Indiana Herald Telephone. From there he went on to author 14 books in addition to two that were nearing completion at the time of his passing.
